Craft+Graft was started by Ceylan and Ian Thomson, two global entrepreneurs with a passion for sustainability and social equality.
The couple had started and managed a successful coworking space in San Francisco before. Their dream was to create an inspiring space in Cape Town that would create a sense of community. A place where people from diverse backgrounds could connect and collaborate in a homely environment. The idea for Craft+Graft was born, a coworking and event space for inspiring humans.
Craft+Graft partners with organisations who inspire the community through innovation, entrepreneurship, and who share their vision for a better future based on key priority areas: sustainability, poverty alleviation, social mobility, gender equality, cultural exchange, wellness, and women in business. Together with their members Craft & Graft support these partners through events, retail space, and exposure adding value to the South African community through their efforts and products.
Craft+Graft is a space purposefully designed for people to come together and drive their ideas forward.
